Atsushi Horiike leads Gordon Brothers Japan's Asset-Based Lending business. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers Japan, Atsushi served at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation for 12 years. His unique working experiences include DIP finance and ABL finance through the corporate workout process in New York, training with the Corporate Recovery Department of Ernst & Young in London, and analysis and documentation of structured finance products and derivative, related financial products in Tokyo. Atsushi is currently a committee member of Japan ABL Association and holds a membership in the Japanese Association of Turnaround Professionals (JATP) and Japanese Association for Business Recovery (JABR). He coauthored "Theory of Asset Based Lending" and cotranslated "Asset Based Finance" in 2007. Atsushi holds a BA in law from Kyoto University and a LLM degree in financial law and insolvency law from London University.
